About the Author

Victoria Chase is the New York Times bestselling author of the Blackwood Files series and several acclaimed standalone thrillers. Born and raised in Seattle, she draws inspiration from the fog-draped forests and rain-soaked streets of the Pacific Northwest.

Before turning to fiction full-time, Victoria spent a decade as a criminal defense attorney, giving her an intimate knowledge of the justice system that infuses her novels with authenticity. Her debut novel spent fourteen weeks on the NYT bestseller list and has been optioned for a streaming series.

When she is not writing, Victoria can be found hiking the Cascades, sampling too much coffee, and plotting her next villain's downfall.
